Professor Colin Herron CBE is a Professor of Practice at Newcastle University and a leading authority on electric vehicles and sustainable transport.
With over 50 years in the automotive industry, including 17 years at Nissan, he founded Zero Carbon Futures in 2011 and now leads research on optimizing EV infrastructure deployment.
He holds a PhD from Newcastle University and is currently seconded to the Faraday Institute while creating the North East Battery Alliance.
